LAUDERHILL, FL - February 26, 1973

Sam Snead finished the Jackie Gleason Inverrary Golf Classic yesterday with a 4 round total of 282. That was good for 4th place just 3 shots behind the winner, Lee Trevino.

Snead’s 282 was 1 shot better than the world’s best player, Jack Nicklaus and rising star Johnny Miller.

It was 6 shots better than last year’s win…
