A visit by the Padres was just what the Mets needed

I was in Shea Stadium, virtually, last night to see the last of the Mets 13 game homestand against NL west teams. The Mets finished a 3 game sweep against the NL’s worst team, the San Diego Padres, thus vaulting the Mets past the Phillies and into 5th place in the NL East.
